Lexmark introduced the OfficeEdge Series earlier this month as a viable alternative to laser printers for small businesses and workgroups.

The OfficeEdge Pro5500, the flagship of the new series, features print, scan, copy and fax functionality as well as print speeds up to 21 ppm in black and 14 ppm in color, a 50-sheet duplexing ADF, front loading Vizix Pro pigment ink system, 4.3-inch color touch screen with SmartSolutions, front side USB port, 350-sheet paper cassette and built-in networking with wireless capability.
