A fashion writer covering the printing industry might conclude that green is the new black. Major industry players are figuratively draping the color on their latest product lines and marketing campaigns. Going “green” is trendy. Eco-consciousness is hip. And good corporate citizenship is all the rage.

But how much of it is mere window dressing? Which companies will still proudly don green in the near future when trendsetters conclude that it’s “so last year”?  One must look beyond the PR machine and analyze products, policies and corporate culture, to find out which companies will still sport eco-style when – or if – it goes out of style.
